5 Ways to Better Sleep

So I thought I could share some tips with you. Better sleep is really important for so many reasons! Happiness, healthy skin and body feeling, is our way to recharge batteries and getting properly ready for the day ahead. I don't usually take any kind of nap during the day, just because I've never get used to it. So trying to stick to a routine at evenings, really increment the amount of good sleep that I've been enjoying lately! 

Since I've started blogging, I've always spent a lot of time on my MacBook. The majority of the time, just before bed, to catch up with other blogs, writing, or forever scrolling through twitter! That wasn't good for my 'sleeping situation'. I found my self waking up in the morning looking and feeling like a zombie. Plus I snooze the alarm so many  times that 9/10 I end up being late for work!

I fell in love with reading again. Last year I didn't read so many books and for me was really disappointing. I wrote a post about my 2016 goals, and reading was one of my main purpose. I mean, you can always find the time to read, even if is only one or two chapter a day! Reading before bed has become one of my absolute favourite things! Also really helps me to relax and fall asleep.

 

 

TEA

Right after dinner I always crave some biscuits or chocolate to end up the day. Tea with chocolate cookies on the sofa is my new friend! I love how warm tea is, and how can make you feel cosy and relax! I drink coffee only in the morning now, I found that tea has a sort of calming effect on me!

SHOWER/bath

When I'm not working in the morning, I do love get showered at 8 am to just start the day right. But when I know that I have to wake up at 6 am, I enjoy have a hot shower in the evenings. I don't usually take bath so often, just like once every two weeks. So a long, hot shower at night, with some apricot scrub and face mask, has been my new weekly pamper nights!

 

 

HAVE A SET BED TIME

Aka don't go to bed late in the night. Again stick to a routine is the best thing you can do! Your body feel it and you can tell the difference too! This do not apply to night out with friends, obviously!

SLEEP IN YOUR BED

I'm guilty of falling asleep on the sofa so many times! Watching a movie, really wanting to see how it ends, not worrying about the fact that I have almost lost at least four scene, because I nap in between them! Moral is, if you are sleepy, go to bed and rest! That's the best decision you can make!
